In the 1930s, a woman working at Riga Radiophone went on to lead a remarkably varied life. Zenta Zommere was born on June 23, 1915, in Finland, into the family of ship captain Lezdiņš.

Beyond her work at Riga Radiophone, she later became both a beauty queen and a film actress. Her acting career included appearances in films by one of the world's most renowned directors, Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman.

According to the account, Zommere is possibly the only Latvian ever to have appeared in a Bergman film, making her story a distinctive footnote in Latvian cultural history.
