First-ever "Red Bull Showrun" with F-1 car to hit Riga streets during city festival
During this weekend's Riga city festival, the capital will host Latvia's first-ever "Red Bull Showrun" event, featuring an F-1 car racing through the city center. Ahead of the event, TVNET+ journalist ĒriXxX pLATAIS got to ride along with rally star Mārtiņš Sesks at the Bikernieki track.
This weekend, during Riga's city festival, the Latvian capital will host an event never before seen in the country – the "Red Bull Showrun," during which various racing vehicles, including an F-1 car, will speed through the city center.
Shortly before the major event, a representative of the online magazine TVNET+, known as ĒriXxX pLATAIS, had the chance to experience high speed on the Bikernieki race track alongside Latvian rally star Mārtiņš Sesks, riding together in the same car.
The event is being presented as a unique opportunity for spectators to watch top-level racing machinery in an urban setting, something that has not previously been available in Latvia.
