Riga Zeļļi lose by one point in Rostock in ULEB EuroCup

Riga Zeļļi lost 86-87 away to Rostock's Seawolves in their second ULEB EuroCup game. Tony Perkins stood out for the Riga side with 35 points.

Riga Zeļļi, regarded as Latvia's third strongest basketball team, have played their second game of their debut ULEB EuroCup season. Away in the German city of Rostock, the Riga side lost 86-87 to the local Seawolves.

The contest was tight, and the closing stages went badly for Riga Zeļļi. That denied the team a second win in the competition.

Tony Perkins gave the standout performance for the Latvian team, scoring 35 points.
