Ombudsman emphasizes patient rights in case of woman shot in Rītabuļļi

Following the Health Inspectorate's opinion in the case of a woman shot in the back in Rītabuļļi, Ombudsman Karina Palkova has raised concerns about the observance of patient rights. She questions whether it is being forgotten that the Patient Rights Law protects not only the treatment method but also the patient and their rights. Palkova stresses that patient rights protection is essential regardless of circumstances.
