Latvian rock band Satellites LV has released a new single, “Redzeslokā”, featuring guest vocalist Alise Golovacka, in its 30th anniversary year. The band also announced that its seventh studio album will be called “Strāvojumi” and is due early next year.
Latvian rock band Satellites LV, which is marking 30 years since its founding, has put out a new single titled “Redzeslokā”. Alise Golovacka of the band Nova Koma appears on the recording as a guest artist. Alongside the release, the musicians revealed the name of their next album: “Strāvojumi”.
The band's seventh studio album is planned for release early next year. The new single follows “Svētdienas svārki”, which came out in the spring. According to the release, “Redzeslokā” holds no major surprises and sounds like the band's familiar style.
The last song for the album
The band says this was the final track that had to be recorded to complete the new album. The musicians said they were delighted that Golovacka agreed to take part, contributing vocals and flute playing, which they described as fantastic.
The single was recorded in Riga this summer with sound engineer and producer Edvards Broders.
