RSU women and Border Guard/RSU men claim Latvian Volleyball Super Cups
Two matches on Sunday decided this year's Latvian volleyball Super Cup winners. RSU took the women's title, while Border Guard/RSU won the men's trophy.

Two matches held on Sunday determined the winners of this year's Latvian volleyball Super Cup in both the women's and men's competitions.
Women's competition
The Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) women's team defeated Mārupe's club to win the Super Cup. The match went the distance across four sets, with RSU prevailing 3-1. RSU lost the opening set 25:27 but fought back to win the second 29:27. The team then took control, winning the third set 25:19 and the fourth 26:24, securing the overall victory and the trophy.
Men's competition
Later in the day, the men's title went to Border Guard/RSU, who gave their opponents, Ezerzeme/DU/Homelike, little chance. Border Guard/RSU swept all three sets — 25:16, 25:17 and 25:20 — for a commanding 3-0 win, claiming the men's Super Cup.
With these two matches, this season's Latvian volleyball Super Cup competition concluded, crowning RSU's women's team and the Border Guard/RSU men's team as champions of the season-opening trophy.
