Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria: Political shifts and halt of Ukraine aid
Romania's prime minister-designate loses party support, Hungary considers eight-year term limit for prime ministers, Romania struggles to form government, and Bulgaria halts military aid to Ukraine.

In Romania, Prime Minister-designate Adrian Veștea has lost the official backing of his party. He now hopes to secure the necessary majority by relying on dissident members within the party.
Meanwhile, Hungary's parliament has voted for a constitutional amendment that would impose an eight-year term limit on the prime minister. If enacted, this would prevent Viktor Orbán from returning to office after his 20-year tenure.
Romania's government formation talks have hit a snag. Traditional parties are under pressure to start governing, while far-right forces are gaining ground in opinion polls.
In Bulgaria, Prime Minister Rumen Radev has halted military aid to Ukraine, believing the Ukrainian cause to be "doomed."
