Performers on the opening day included the Estonian-Ukrainian band Svjata Vatra, violinist Daana, the Lee folk dance group, and other artists. The festival, now in its 21st edition, offers a rich program of traditional music and dance. Organizers note that this event is a significant cultural occasion for the region, attracting visitors from across Estonia and abroad. This year, the festival aims to preserve and promote local traditions while fostering intercultural dialogue, especially with Ukraine.
