Saeima concludes spring session: Much done, but not all planned

Latvia's Saeima held its final sitting of the spring session on Thursday. Deputies characterized the past months of parliamentary work as having accomplished much, though some planned tasks remain unfinished.

During the concluding meeting, lawmakers reviewed the work done and identified key questions that require further attention. The session saw progress on various legislative matters, but not all initial goals were met.

Looking ahead, deputies outlined the issues to be tackled in the autumn session. After the summer break, the parliament is set to continue its work on pending legislation and political priorities.
