Saeima Deputy Activity: One Spoke Nearly 400 Times, Another Never
New Unity and the United List have been the most active parties in the current Saeima term, according to data compiled by Panorāma. One deputy has spoken almost 400 times, while another has not spoken at all.

Ahead of the autumn parliamentary elections, the program “Panorāma” has compiled data on the activity of deputies in the current Saeima term. The results reveal significant disparities – while one deputy has taken the floor nearly 400 times, another has not spoken even once.
The most active parties in the Saeima are “New Unity” and the “United List”. Members of these factions stand out for their frequent speeches and higher number of initiatives compared to other parties.
The compiled data includes both the number of speeches and the volume of draft laws and other proposals submitted. This information allows voters to assess the diligence of deputies before the upcoming elections, which are scheduled for this autumn.
Exact figures for each deputy and party have not been disclosed, but the overall picture indicates a large gap in activity. For instance, the most active deputy has spoken nearly 400 times, while several other parliamentarians have delivered no speeches at all.
