The Central Election Commission (CVK) has released details on mobile voting services that will be offered to voters in more than ten Latvian municipalities on the day of the 15th Saeima election.

In Bauska Municipality, mobile voting will take place at four locations: the Mežotne parish office from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Viesturi Culture Centre from 10 a.m. to noon, the Taurkalne library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the Grenctāle culture house from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Mobile voting across the country

Mobile polling locations will also be set up in the municipalities of Alūksne, Balvi, Dobele, Gulbene, Jelgava, Līvāni, Ogre, Rēzekne, Ropaži, Smiltene, Valka and Valmiera. In many of these areas, voting will take place at several settlements throughout the day, in some cases using municipal mobile buses. Rēzekne and Valmiera municipalities, for instance, will each have five or six mobile voting stops.

Election details

The CVK reminds voters that the 15th Saeima election will be held on Saturday, with polling stations across Latvia open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters may cast their ballot at any polling station in the country, regardless of their registered address. Exact mobile voting addresses and times are published by the CVK on its election precinct map.
