The farm 'Pērles A.A.J.' has made a significant investment in new machinery, spending over €212,000. The acquired multifunctional equipment will replace three separate, outdated units that required high maintenance costs.

According to board member Jānis Pastars, the new technology will ensure more uniform and higher-quality feed preparation, reduce feed losses, and allow for more precise resource utilization as well as more efficient labor use. The farm is steadily growing and plans to increase its herd to 620 dairy cows by 2026.

The investment in modern equipment promotes sustainable farming by reducing the environmental impact of operations. Pēteris Plaudis, head of Citadele Leasing in Latvia, emphasizes that the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises largely depends on their ability to invest in modern technologies. He notes that such investments strengthen not only the specific farm but also the entire Latvian agricultural sector.
