Third season of "Freibis podcast" kicks off with live show featuring Latvian hockey players in Europe
The Latvian hockey podcast "Freibis podkāsts" is launching its third season with a livestream featuring several Latvian players competing abroad. The opening episode brings together players from clubs in Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Czechia and Germany.
The "Freibis podkāsts" is opening its third season with a special format for its first episode — a live show bringing together Latvian hockey players who currently play for clubs across Europe.
Guest lineup
The premiere episode will feature several Latvian national team and club players representing different European leagues. Niks Feņenko will join from Norway, while Finland-based players Artūrs Andžāns and Miks Tumānovs will also take part.
From Swiss clubs, the show will host Rodrigo Ābols and Rūdolfs Balcers, while Czech-based players Renārs Krastenbergs and Kristiāns Rubīns will also appear. Germany-based goaltender Kristers Gudļevskis rounds out the guest list.
With this wide range of players from five different European countries, the podcast's creators aim to give viewers insight into how Latvian players are faring abroad ahead of the new season.
