Reino, the 23-year-old French center of the NBA's Sacramento Kings, has injured his right knee and will not be ready for the start of the season. The club will reassess his condition in about two weeks.

Reino, a 23-year-old French center for the Sacramento Kings, will miss the start of the NBA season because of a knee injury. The NBA is North America's professional basketball league. The club has said it will reassess the player's condition in roughly two weeks. His exact return date is not yet known, but he will definitely not be ready for the start of the season. Reino is preparing for his second season in the league, so the Kings will have to begin the campaign without their center.
How the injury happened
The center was hurt in the second quarter of a game after colliding with Stephen Curry. Reino grabbed his right knee and fell to the floor, and later left the court in a wheelchair.
Before the injury he had collected ten points, five rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in nine minutes. Sacramento lost the game 106-111.
Debut season
In his first NBA season Reino averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Those numbers earned him a place on the league's All-Rookie Second Team, the second-best selection of first-year players.
