New Concert Hall to Open in Salaspils in Early Autumn
A new concert hall in Salaspils, built with nearly 20 million euros in municipal funds, will open in September, honoring local native Knuts Skujenieks.

While Riga still awaits its own acoustic concert hall, a new venue is set to open just outside the capital in Salaspils this September. The concert hall was constructed using less than 20 million euros from the municipality's budget. It will pay special tribute to Knuts Skujenieks, a poet and native of the region. The opening is scheduled for early autumn, offering local residents and visitors a modern space with suitable acoustics for musical performances.
