Salman Rushdie, the renowned British writer who faced a fatwa over his novel "The Satanic Verses" for more than three decades and survived a knife attack nearly four years ago that left him blind in one eye, has released a new work of fiction. The novel, titled "The Eleventh Hour", is his first fictional work since the attack.
Interview at Porto's literary gathering
Rushdie discussed his new book and his experiences in an interview with France 24's show "Arts24" at Porto's new BABELL literary festival.
