Samsung is hosting its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT in London. The event will be invite-only, but can be watched live on Samsung's website or YouTube channel.

According to leaks and rumors, the main highlights will be the next generation of foldables. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature a major redesign with a wider, passport-like shape when folded and an extended display. Leaked images from Evan Blass suggest a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, dual 50MP rear cameras (wide and ultrawide), and a 10MP camera on both the cover and main screen. It may offer up to 26 hours of video playback.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is rumored to retain the slim and tall design of the Z Fold 7 but with an upgraded 5,000mAh battery and up to 27 hours of video playback. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is said to pack a 4,300mAh battery and an unchanged camera setup: 10MP front, 50MP wide, and 12MP ultrawide rear cameras.

Samsung is also expected to unveil new wearables. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, according to leaks, will be 12% thinner than its predecessor, featuring a Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, an 800mAh battery, and a display brightness of up to 5,000 nits. The Galaxy Watch 9 will likely have a familiar design with the same chipset.

Finally, more details on Samsung's AI-powered smart glasses may emerge. The devices are expected to launch this fall in partnership with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, and a demo at Unpacked is possible.
