Samsung Teases 'Brand New Shape' for Galaxy Z Fold 8 in Spider-Man Video
Samsung has given a sneak peek of the redesigned Galaxy Z Fold 8 in a teaser for the new Spider-Man movie, hinting at a wider, passport-like shape. The company is expected to officially unveil the device at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd.

Samsung has offered a glimpse of its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 through a promotional video tied to the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." The teaser shows Spider-Man removing a foldable phone from a 3D printer and opening it like a book, though the device is mostly obscured by lens flares. This is believed to be the redesigned Z Fold 8, which rumors suggest will adopt a wider, passport-like form factor.
The video also appears to feature other upcoming Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, according to reports from 9to5Google. These devices are shown more clearly but look similar to current models; the flip phone, for instance, looks identical to the existing Z Flip 7.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its other new products at a Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 22nd. Meanwhile, Apple is also rumored to be developing a foldable iPhone with a similar design, which could launch later this year.
