Samsung Unveils Galaxy Credit Card Ahead of Unpacked Event
Samsung has introduced a new Galaxy credit card with enhanced cashback rewards for purchases of its products, available from July 22.

Samsung has announced a credit card called the Samsung Galaxy Card, just before its major Unpacked event scheduled for July 22. While not as thrilling as a new foldable phone, the card could be appealing to loyal Samsung fans because it offers generous cashback on Samsung purchases.
Specifically, cardholders get a five percent cash reward on eligible purchases made directly with Samsung. For instance, buying the entry-level Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 at $1,500 would yield a $75 cash reward. Additionally, spending $2,000 with the card within the first 90 days of account opening gives a $200 cash reward—effectively a ten percent return, though carrying $1,800 in debt is less fun.
Other rewards include three percent cashback on purchases made through Samsung Wallet, two percent on streaming service payments, and one percent on all other purchases. The card also provides a 20 percent discount on Samsung's VIP Advantage loyalty and warranty platform.
The Samsung Galaxy Card will be available starting July 22. Consumers can apply online or at any Samsung retail store. Samsung's Unpacked presentation begins at 9 AM ET on the same day, where the company is expected to unveil a range of new gadgets, giving users plenty of opportunities to earn that five percent cashback.
Samsung joins other tech giants like Apple, which has offered the Apple Card for years, and Amazon, which has multiple branded credit cards.
