Red cards mar Bournemouth v Betis pre-season friendly
A confrontation during a friendly between Bournemouth and Real Betis in Seville led to a red card for a player from each side, with the match finishing 2-2.

A pre-season friendly between Bournemouth and Real Betis in Seville ended 2-2 but was overshadowed by a flare-up that saw the referee send off one player from each team.
Confrontation before the break
Tensions rose shortly before half-time after Bournemouth defender Bafode Diakite fouled Betis midfielder Nelson Deossa, who responded by kicking the ball at Diakite. The incident triggered a scuffle involving players from both squads. Former Manchester United winger Antony, now at Betis, and Bournemouth's Alex Scott shoved one another during the melee, and both were shown red cards by the referee.
How the match unfolded
Bournemouth took the lead in the 41st minute through Marcus Tavernier. Betis drew level in the 57th minute via Cucho Hernandez. Evanilson then restored Bournemouth's advantage before Pablo Fornals scored late to secure a 2-2 draw for the La Liga side.
What's next
Bournemouth will play their final pre-season friendly against Germany's Mainz on 15 August before opening their Premier League campaign away to Manchester City on 23 August.
