Sharon Osbourne emotionally remembers Ozzy on wedding anniversary: 'Love that death couldn't diminish'
Sharon Osbourne shared a heartfelt social media post on what would have been her 46th wedding anniversary with Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025.

Sharon Osbourne, the 73-year-old widow of rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, took to social media on Saturday to mark the day the couple would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. Ozzy, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76.
“Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary,” Sharon wrote alongside a photo showing the two holding hands. “Instead, it’s a celebration of love—love that even death couldn’t diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart.”
The post garnered widespread support. Singer Nicole Scherzinger commented, “Sending you all my love, Mrs. O.” “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba remarked that Sharon and Ozzy’s relationship always reminded her of “the most beautiful love.”
Sharon and Ozzy first met in the early 1970s. After Ozzy left Black Sabbath in 1979, Sharon became his manager and helped him build a successful solo career. The couple married on July 4, 1982, in Maui, Hawaii. They had three children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Over more than four decades, they faced addiction struggles, health issues, and personal crises but remained together.
The couple gained wider fame through the MTV reality show “The Osbournes,” which showcased their family life and Sharon’s support for Ozzy.
Their daughter Kelly Osbourne also posted an emotional message on the anniversary, addressing her mother. She noted that the day now carries a “quiet pain” as it is the first without her father. “I hope you know that a love like yours doesn’t end when life ends. It changes form,” Kelly wrote. “Dad no longer walks beside you, but he will never stop being with you.”
In a statement after Ozzy’s death, the family said the musician passed away surrounded by loved ones and enveloped in love.
