According to RFE/RL's investigative project "Schemes," satellite imagery from Planet Labs shows that at least two buildings at the Sborka semiconductor devices plant in Voronezh were damaged in a Ukrainian missile strike. The photographs were taken on June 23. Damage to the plant’s buildings is also visible in photos and videos published by pro-war and conflict-monitoring Telegram channels.

On June 22, Ukrainian forces carried out a missile strike on Voronezh. Governor Alexander Gusev said that production facilities at one of Voronezh’s enterprises were damaged. Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed that the Ukrainian military had struck a plant manufacturing electronics for Iskander and Kh-101 missiles and Pantsir-S1 air-defense systems.

According to the governor, five people were killed in the strike. Mourning was declared in the region from June 23 to 25. Russian federal television channels ignored the strike on Voronezh in their news broadcasts.
