SBU says it busted Kyiv crypto network that drained EU citizens’ wallets
Ukraine’s Security Service has announced it dismantled a cryptocurrency fraud network in Kyiv that drained digital wallets of EU citizens. The alleged scheme’s monthly turnover from stolen funds could reach $1 million during its most lucrative periods, according to the SBU.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced the busting of a cryptocurrency fraud network based in the country’s capital, Kyiv.
According to the SBU, the network targeted European Union citizens by draining their cryptocurrency wallets. In its most profitable periods, the alleged scheme could generate a monthly turnover of as much as one million US dollars from stolen funds.
