Seedcamp raises €279 million to back Europe's next generation of global startups
British first-check investor Seedcamp has announced a €279 million raise for its Fund VII to support the next wave of global startups.
Seedcamp, a British first-check investor known for backing companies like Revolut, Wise, UiPath, Synthesia, and Fluidstack, has raised €279 million ($320 million) to launch its Fund VII and invest in the next generation of global companies. The new capital is allocated between €192 million ($220 million) for Seedcamp VII, the first-check fund, and €87 million for other investment purposes. This significant fundraise underscores the continued confidence in Europe's startup ecosystem and Seedcamp's role as a key early-stage investor. With this fund, Seedcamp aims to support innovative startups from their earliest stages, helping them scale into global leaders.
