Céline Dion, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, is set to return to the stage on Saturday with her first full concert in six years. The performance in Paris marks the opening night of a sold-out residency, following a period away from touring caused by a rare neurological condition.

Hours before taking the stage, the Canadian singer left her hotel, Le Royal Monceau, and greeted a crowd of fans who had gathered outside hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Some admirers arrived as early as 06:00 in the morning to secure a good spot near the entrance.

The Paris concert is the first of 26 shows Dion is scheduled to perform over the coming eight months, as she resumes a full touring schedule after her health struggles forced a pause in her career. The residency had already sold out ahead of the opening date.

Dion's return to live performance comes after years of limited public appearances due to her illness. Saturday's concert is being seen as a significant milestone in her comeback, representing her first complete show since stepping back from regular touring, and the start of a new chapter in her career as she reconnects with audiences across the coming months.
