Semenistaja reaches decisive round of Wimbledon qualifying
Latvian tennis player Darja Semenistaja won her second qualifying match on Saturday and is one victory away from entering the Wimbledon main draw.

One win away from the main draw
Darja Semenistaja, currently ranked 102nd in the WTA standings and seeded sixth in the Wimbledon qualifiers, defeated Japan's Nao Hibino (247th) 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 in the second round. The victory earned her 30 ranking points.
In the first round, Semenistaja beat Czech Anna Siskova (231st) 7-6 (7:2), 1-6, 7-5.
In the decisive match for a spot in the main draw, the Latvian will face Russian Anastasia Gasanova, who is ranked 290th. Semenistaja needs one more win to enter the main competition of the season's third Grand Slam tournament, which begins on Monday.
The qualifying tournament requires three rounds to be completed to secure a place in the main draw. Wimbledon is played on grass courts.
