Seven Places in Latvia to Pick Your Own Berries: Blueberries and Raspberries Still Available
Several farms in Latvia still offer pick-your-own blueberries and raspberries, though this year's harvest is uneven.

Summer continues, and berry pickers still have the chance to head to fields for fresh blueberries and raspberries. In some farms, the harvest is abundant, while in others it is weaker than in previous years, meaning berries may not be enough for all interested visitors.
One location where blueberries are still available for picking is the blueberry garden "Sudraboga" in Dobeles municipality, Penkule parish. The garden is located on the banks of the Auce River and was established by the family of Juris and Elīna in 2019. Owner Elīna says that despite the rainy weather, the berries are not harmed, but if picked wet, they should be dried before freezing. This year's harvest is significantly smaller than last year, but the field is open to bring joy to regular customers. She advises checking social media or calling before visiting, as the garden is not open every day from morning till evening like last year.
Self-picked blueberries cost €6 per kilogram, with a reduced price of €5 per kilogram if picking more than 10 kilograms. Pre-picked berries are available for €11 per kilogram.
