Panel-Block Apartment Prices in Ogre Up 11% Since Start of Year
A report by real estate company Arco Real Estate shows that prices of standard-series apartments rose again in August 2026 in Ogre, Salaspils and Kauguri, a part of Jūrmala. In Jelgava they were unchanged over the month.

Apartment prices are moving differently across towns near Riga and in Jelgava. The latest standard-series apartment market report from real estate company Arco Real Estate shows that in August 2026 prices rose in Ogre, Salaspils and Kauguri, while in Jelgava they stayed flat. Standard-series apartments are homes in apartment buildings constructed to typical designs.
Ogre and Salaspils
In Ogre, prices of standard-series apartments increased by 0.6% in August, and the average price reached 913 euros per square metre. Compared with the start of 2026, prices in Ogre are 11% higher, the largest rise among the places covered in the report.
In Salaspils, prices also rose by 0.6% in August, and the average price per square metre, according to the report, was 913 euros. Since the start of the year, prices in this town have grown by 8%.
Kauguri and Jelgava
In Kauguri, part of Jūrmala, standard-series apartment prices rose by 0.5% in August, to 887 euros per square metre. Since the beginning of 2026 the increase amounts to more than 7%.
In Jelgava, prices did not change in August and averaged 800 euros per square metre. At the start of the year, prices there were 4% lower than in August.
The report covers only the standard-series apartment segment and specific towns, so it cannot be used to draw conclusions about Latvia's entire housing market. Still, the data indicate that prices in several of the larger towns outside Riga have been rising over the course of the year.
