On Thursday, August 20, the Baltic region's largest park running series "Izskrien Rīgu" concluded its season with a final stage held around Māra pond in Riga, drawing roughly two thousand participants. The event honored both the winners of the final stage and the best performers of the entire season's overall standings. The closing celebration included a concert by rapper Reiks and a Red Bull party.

This season the series visited five locations: Uzvaras Park, Mežaparks, Biķernieki, Lucavsala, and finally Māra pond. At every stage, alongside recreational runners, several of Latvia's strongest athletes also competed.

5-kilometre race

In the final stage's 5km men's race, Edgars Šumskis was fastest in a sprint finish, ahead of season leader Dmitrijs Serjogins and Lauris Lapsa. Despite finishing second, Serjogins secured the overall season title; he is also the designer of the course around Māra pond. Among juniors, Daniils Vakuļičs was best, while Uldis Siecinieks again topped the veterans' category.

In the women's race, Kitija Valtere won both the final stage and the overall season title, finishing ahead of Eleonora Guissi, Diāna Stolniece and Jeļena Ābele. Anastasija Vakuļiča was the top junior, while Maruta Krūmiņa led the veterans.

10-kilometre race

In the men's 10km final stage, Jevgēņijs Stepanovs won, getting the better of previous-stage winner Jānis Mūrnieks, with Kristers Kovgers finishing third. The result also gave Stepanovs the overall season title, while Valdis Ņilovs was the top veteran.

In the women's 10km race, Anita Siliņa won the final stage ahead of Zanda Malančuka and Ilona Daģe. However, Malančuka claimed the overall season title, with Zane Gruberte topping the veterans' category.

SK "Tērauds" was named the season's best team, while in the family category "Bulta", featuring Serjogins and Valtere, took top honors. The series is organized by XEvents in cooperation with Riga City Council and is funded from the state budget.
