According to the independent Russian investigative outlet Verstka, six yachts belonging to Russian billionaires have gathered near the Turkish resort city of Bodrum. The yacht "Victoria," linked to Vladimir Putin, had arrived there earlier.

Among the vessels now anchored off Turkey's southern and southwestern coast are those belonging to Roman Abramovich, Oleg Deripaska, VTB Bank chief Andrei Kostin, and Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov, Verstka reported.

Also in the area are yachts belonging to Alexander Nesis, founder of the silver and gold miner Polymetal, and Iskander Makhmudov, co-founder and president of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company.

Journalists discovered the 71-meter yacht "Victoria" in November 2023. The yacht was reportedly registered to a company owned by Gennady Timchenko, a close friend of Putin's. According to reports, the Russian president and members of his inner circle use the yacht.

Victoria is based in Sochi, Verstka said. At the end of June, it sailed from the coast of Krasnodar Krai toward Bodrum.

Shortly before that, Putin's other yacht, the "Graceful" — renamed the "Kosatka" after the start of the war — was spotted off the coast of Denmark. It is now docked at the port of Severomorsk, near Murmansk.
