Sesks: 'When Everything Is Good, We Can Be a Top 5 Crew'
Latvian rally driver Mārtiņš Sesks, ahead of the WRC round in Estonia, states that his crew has established itself in the championship and can fight for a top-five finish if technical issues are avoided.

Mārtiņš Sesks and his co-driver Renārs Francis will compete in this weekend's WRC rally in Estonia, marking their third full season in the top tier of the World Rally Championship. Sesks noted in an interview that they are no longer seen as a surprise but as a permanent fixture in the series.
Despite results not being as bright this season, the driver attributes it to various circumstances, particularly technical problems. 'If everything is in order, we are competitive enough and can be a top 5 crew,' Sesks said.
He also emphasized that all WRC teams are going through a difficult period, as current cars will be replaced by new ones at the end of the season due to upcoming regulation changes. Financial constraints prevent them from always preparing competitive machinery, but when everything works, the car is fast.
As a rally fan, Sesks expressed that there are many uncertainties about the new era, and the end of the year promises to be interesting. Regarding the Estonia round, he highlighted the support from Latvian fans: 'This season, there have been Latvian flags at every rally. I hope we see even more in Estonia.' The WRC rally in Estonia runs from July 17 to 19.
