Sesks and Francis recover from difficult start to claim 6th place in Estonia WRC rally
Latvian crew Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis finished the first day of the WRC Estonia rally in 6th place after a tough opening.

The first day of the World Rally Championship (WRC) round in Estonia concluded with a strong recovery from Latvian duo Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis (M-Sport Ford). Despite a very disappointing start, they managed to fight back with several competitive stage times, climbing to 6th place overall.
Finnish driver Sami Pajari (Toyota Gazoo Racing) led the rally after a flawless day, setting the pace among the field. While other drivers battled for positions, Sesks and Francis gradually improved their standing after initial setbacks.
For the Latvian crew, this is their first full season in the top WRC category, and their ability to bounce back from adversity highlights their growing experience and skill. The rally continues with two more days of stages, offering further opportunities for Sesks and Francis to move up the leaderboard.
