Rain expected in many parts of Latvia on Saturday, but temperatures will rise

According to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Saturday, July 11, will bring rain back to Latvia, but the air will become warmer.
During the night, the sky will clear in some places, but the southern regions will still experience short-term rain and thunderstorms. In the second half of the night, a cyclone centre will approach from the east, bringing clouds and a precipitation zone that will cross most of the country, resulting in rain. The wind will be light, and the minimum temperature will range from +12°C to +17°C. In Riga, the sky will clear at times during the first part of the night, but by morning clouds will bring rain. A light north wind will blow, and the temperature will drop to +16..+18°C.
On Saturday daytime, clouds will cover the sky, and most of the country will see rain, with possible thunderstorms in some areas. The wind will be light from the north, and fog may form in certain regions. In the morning, the wind on the Gulf coast, and from the afternoon also on the sea coast, will strengthen from the north and northwest, reaching 15 m/s. In the second half of the day, the sky will clear in places, and the air will warm up to +18..+23°C. In Riga, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with occasional rain in the morning, but precipitation will cease in the afternoon and the sky will clear. The maximum temperature in Riga will be around +20°C.
