Skies to gradually cloud over Saturday as showers move in from the west
Saturday will start calm across Latvia, but a band of clouds and rain will spread in from the west during the second half of the day, with a chance of local thunderstorms. Temperatures will rise up to +23 degrees.

Meteorologists forecast that Saturday morning and the first half of the day will remain calm across Latvia, with no major weather changes expected.
From midday onward, however, a zone of cloud cover and precipitation will begin crossing the country from the west. Skies will gradually cloud over, and western and central regions can expect brief rain showers. Forecasters also note the possibility of localized thunderstorms in some areas.
Wind will blow slowly to moderately from the southeast and south during the day. Along the coast and in central districts, gusts will be stronger. Daytime air temperatures will climb to between +18 and +23 degrees.
Conditions in Riga
In the capital, the day will begin with variable cloudiness, turning increasingly overcast by the afternoon, with rain expected in Riga by evening. Southeasterly to southerly wind will continue, with gusts reaching up to 14 meters per second. Air temperature in Riga will rise to between +20 and +22 degrees.
