Three Traffic Accidents with Injuries in Tallinn on Saturday

Three crashes in Tallinn injured a cyclist, an e-moped driver and passenger, and a motorcycle passenger. One driver fled, and the e-moped driver showed signs of alcohol intoxication.

On Saturday, July 4, three road traffic accidents with injuries occurred in Tallinn.

The first accident was reported at 00:56 near Kreutzwaldi 23. A driver of a Škoda Octavia, whose identity is not yet known, was turning right and struck a 24-year-old man riding a bicycle in the same direction. The cyclist was taken to hospital. The driver fled the scene.

The second accident happened at 01:59 near Gonsiori 17. A 22-year-old man driving an electric moped and showing signs of alcohol intoxication lost control of the vehicle. As a result, he and a 19-year-old female passenger fell. The girl was taken to hospital.

The third accident occurred at 19:38 at the intersection of Peterburi tee and Filtri tee. A 31-year-old man riding a Kawasaki motorcycle lost control while turning, causing the bike to tip over. A 30-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital.

In total, there were five accidents with injuries across Estonia on Saturday. Additionally, over the day, police removed 14 drunk drivers from the roads.
