Running series "Izskrien Rīgu" wraps up its season at Māra Pond

On Thursday, August 20, the fifth and final stage of the 2026 season of the "Izskrien Rīgu" running series took place at Māra Pond in Riga. The race drew nearly 1,900 runners, underscoring the series' popularity among residents.
Final stage and awards
After crossing the finish line, organizers presented awards not only to the fastest participants of this particular stage but also to those runners who achieved the best results across the entire season's overall standings. The closing event thus served both as the finale of the fifth stage and as the awards ceremony for the whole 2026 season.
