Shelby brings back 821-hp F-150 Super Snake Sport

Shelby American has brought back the high-performance pickup Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport, a model previously built from 2020 through 2023. After the truck was discontinued, demand continued to grow, and fans repeatedly asked the company to resume production. The manufacturer has now responded with a new version that offers more than twice the power of the base model and an upgraded chassis.

The new Super Snake Sport is based on the Ford F-150 XL 4x4. Exterior changes include an aluminum hood with an integrated air intake, a redesigned front bumper, a large front splitter, a new grille with built-in marker lights, widened fender flares, side sills, a cargo bed cover, a rear spoiler, decorative vinyl graphics and tinted windows.

Interior photos have not yet been released, but the pickup is expected to come with leather seats, carbon-fiber trim, aluminum pedal covers and special floor mats. Every car will also carry its own serial number plate.

Under the hood, the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8, which produces 405 hp in base form, is now fitted with a supercharger, new fuel injectors, an upgraded cooling system and a Borla exhaust. As a result, output rises to 821 hp. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.

To improve handling, engineers lowered the suspension and added adjustable King shocks, a new rear sway bar and a Baer brake system. The truck rides on 22-inch wheels with Michelin tires.

Compared with the first Super Snake Sport, the new model is about 50 hp more powerful. Only 500 examples of the Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport are planned for this year, with pricing starting at $115,795, or roughly 100,500 euros.
