Sikorski Advises Nawrocki on Topics to Discuss with Trump: US Troops in Poland and Ziobro's Visa
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has advised President Karol Nawrocki to raise the issues of increasing US military presence on NATO's eastern flank and revoking former prosecutor general Zbigniew Ziobro's journalist visa during his visit to the United States.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski gave advice to President Karol Nawrocki on the topics to discuss during his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump. Sikorski spoke during a press conference in Opole.
The first priority, according to Sikorski, is to secure a commitment to increase the US military presence in Poland, particularly on NATO's eastern flank where the threat exists. He emphasized that the presence should be strengthened where it is truly needed.
Secondly, Sikorski addressed the case of former prosecutor general Zbigniew Ziobro, who is wanted on charges of embezzling funds from the Justice Fund. Ziobro is currently in the United States on a journalist visa, but Sikorski argued that he is not a journalist but a vice-president of the main opposition party and a member of parliament. He expressed hope that President Nawrocki would secure the annulment of this visa.
Earlier reports indicated that Nawrocki received an invitation to Trump's 80th birthday celebration and intends to attend, preparing two gifts for the occasion.
