Sillamäe City and Sea Days Kick Off
Sillamäe is celebrating its 69th annual City and Sea Days festival, featuring a parade, charity fair, concerts, and sports activities, with a packed program for residents and visitors.

The traditional City and Sea Days festival has begun in Sillamäe, marking its 69th edition. This major city event started with a festive parade. Attendees can look forward to a diverse program including a charity fair, military equipment exhibition, guided tours, children's performances, theater shows, contests, a motorcycle exhibition, and a night bike ride.
The Sillamäe Museum offers free admission to its summer exhibition and museum halls, along with master classes and a concert. According to Alevtina Yermakova, director of the Sillamäe Culture and Leisure Center, the schedule is packed. The fair begins at 9 a.m. on Kesktänav, followed by the Ida-Virumaa run along the promenade. The main opening ceremony at 4 p.m. on the main stage will feature the Defense League Big Band, the ensemble The Swingers, and soloists Ott Lepland and Mikk Saar. The evening will conclude with a disco, and the third day is traditionally sports-oriented, with activities near the Kalev sports complex.
