100 Sign Language Videos Teach Green Entrepreneurship
The School of Economics and Culture, together with the Latvian Deaf Union, has created 100 videos in Latvian sign language explaining green business principles and practical knowledge for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
The School of Economics and Culture (EKA) in cooperation with the Latvian Deaf Union (LNS) has produced 100 videos fully delivered in Latvian sign language. The materials are dedicated to green entrepreneurship principles and practical knowledge, making this information accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
The project aims to promote understanding of sustainable business and provide concrete advice on starting or developing environmentally friendly ventures. The video content covers both theoretical aspects and real-world examples, including practical steps.
This is one of the few initiatives in Latvia that makes business education fully accessible to people with hearing impairments. The materials are freely available and can serve as a resource for both interested individuals and professionals.
