Cindy Crawford's daughter and Richard Gere's son attend premiere together
Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere, whose parents were married in the 1990s, appeared together at the Los Angeles premiere of the series “The Shards”.
Model and actress Kaia Gerber, 24, and actor Homer Gere, 26, walked the red carpet together on Monday evening for the premiere of the new series “The Shards”. The duo drew special attention because their parents – supermodel Cindy Crawford and actor Richard Gere – were married from 1991 to 1995.
Kaia wore a Versace evening gown that made her resemble her mother. Homer, dressed in a dark suit, looked elegant and confident. Cindy Crawford also attended the event in a turquoise satin dress to support her daughter. Homer was accompanied by his mother, actress and model Carey Lowell.
The series “The Shards” is based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel, a dark and violent story about a serial killer stalking a group of wealthy high school students in 1980s Los Angeles. Homer plays the role of Robert Mallory, while Kaia portrays Susan Reynolds.
Kaia Gerber has been a fixture in the fashion world, winning the British Fashion Award for Model of the Year in 2018 and appearing on multiple Vogue covers. She has also acted in the series “Palm Royale” and the film “Mother Mary”.
Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere married in Las Vegas in 1991 when Crawford was 22. The marriage lasted four years. Crawford later married businessman Rande Gerber, with whom she is still together. Gere later married Carey Lowell and then Alejandra Silva.
