Meteorologists warn of dense fog Monday evening and overnight

Latvia's Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre forecasts dense fog across many parts of the country on Monday evening and into the night of September 22.

Latvia's Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC) has issued a warning about dense fog expected on Monday evening, continuing into the night ahead of Tuesday, September 22.

According to meteorologists' forecasts, fog will affect many regions across Latvia. Such weather conditions can reduce visibility on roads, requiring extra caution from drivers as well as pedestrians and other road users, particularly during the evening and nighttime hours.

Residents are advised to stay updated on the latest weather information and, if necessary, plan their travel with reduced road visibility in mind.
