Šits assists Dordrecht's rout, Strods features in Bohemians' win in Ireland
In the Dutch second division, Latvia international Roberts Šits set up a goal as Dordrecht thrashed Volendam, while in Ireland Markuss Strods played a part in Bohemians' victory.

In the Dutch second-tier Keuken Kampioen Divisie, Dordrecht claimed a convincing win over Volendam, with Latvia national team midfielder Roberts Šits playing a key role. In the 27th minute, he set up Estonian teammate Martin Vetkal, who scored to make it 1:2.
Notably, a similar combination between Šits and Vetkal had already paid off in the first round, when Dordrecht faced Ajax Amsterdam's youth side. On that occasion the same type of assist helped level the score at 1:1, before Dordrecht went on to win 2:1 overall.
For Volendam, 35-year-old Henk Veerman was the standout, scoring all four of the team's goals to complete a personal poker. Šits now has one goal and two assists in four matches this season, while Dordrecht have collected four points in total.
Bohemians win in Ireland
Meanwhile, in the League of Ireland Premier Division, Dublin's Bohemians beat Sligo Rovers 3:0, scoring all three goals before half-time. Latvia U21 international midfielder Markuss Strods came on in the 70th minute.
After 29 rounds, Bohemians have accumulated 50 points, finishing the round in the league's top three and continuing their fight for the title.
