Škoda Peaq: new electric flagship offers seven seats and up to 633 km of range
Škoda has begun selling Peaq, its largest and most expensive electric vehicle to date, available with up to seven seats and priced in Latvia from €48,990. The model reached production eight years after its concept was first unveiled.
Škoda has launched Peaq, a new large electric SUV that has become the brand's flagship model. Series production began this August in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, at the same plant that also builds the Enyaq, Elroq and Octavia models. The concept version, called Vision 7S, was first shown back in 2022 as an electric alternative to the Kodiaq.
Peaq is 11 centimeters longer than the Kodiaq and has a longer wheelbase. The vehicle measures 4874 mm in length, 1867 mm in width, and 1664 mm in height. The design retains the styling language shown on the concept, featuring T-shaped lights and smooth lines that deliver a strong aerodynamic result — a drag coefficient of 0.249.
Interior and equipment
The cabin features a 2.1-meter panoramic glass roof, the largest Škoda has used in any of its models to date, which can be made opaque electronically. The dashboard includes a 13.6-inch infotainment screen. A Relax equipment package is also available, offering massage seats with extended leg support, along with a Sonos sound system. The car comes in five- or seven-seat versions, with a reasonably spacious third row. Cargo capacity for the five-seat version reaches 2150 liters with the seats folded down.
Drivetrain options and pricing
Three power versions are offered on the Latvian market: the Peaq 60 with 204 hp and a 63 kWh battery, offering up to 450 km of range; the Peaq 90 with 286 hp, a 91 kWh battery and up to 633 km of range; and the all-wheel-drive Peaq 90x with 299 hp and up to 601 km of range. The larger battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 28 minutes. All versions support functions that allow the car's battery to power a household or other electrical devices.
Prices in Latvia start at €48,990 for the Peaq 60, €55,410 for the Peaq 90, and €57,580 for the Peaq 90x. A state incentive for electric vehicle purchases, ranging from €4,000 to €9,000, is also available.
