Skrapcis and Rožlapa achieve best times at excellently organized "Goldingen" Cup ITT
Oliver Jēkabs Skrapcis and Dana Rožlapa posted the fastest times in the 22 km distance during the third edition of the "Goldingen" Cup, held on closed roads with high organizational standards.

The third edition of the "Goldingen" Cup individual time trial took place in Kuldīga, setting new organizational heights this year. Participants could choose from four distances – 5, 10, 15, and 22 kilometers – all held on fully closed roads, ensuring maximum safety.
The absolute best time on the 22 km course was set by Oliver Jēkabs Skrapcis from the "Energus" team, hailing from Smiltene, who finished in 27 minutes and 48 seconds amidst gusty winds, averaging 48.8 km/h. Egīls Peļņiks ("Velo+ Bottari Baltic") took second place, 25 seconds behind, while local rider Ģirts Vēvers ("Goldingen CT") placed third, 39 seconds off the pace. The top six also included junior winner Haralds Strādnieks ("Dobeles dzirnavnieks/FeelFree", Dobeles Sporta skola), Uvis Zvirbulis ("Goldingen CT"), and Ričards Hansons ("RRS/MSĢ").
Among women, Dana Rožlapa ("Train2Win", coached by Jānis Mūsiņš), who recently won her tenth Latvian championship title, claimed a convincing victory. Her time on the 22 km distance was 30 minutes and 21 seconds, earning her seventh place overall (average speed 44.7 km/h). Anita Antone ("Dobeles dzirnavnieks/FeelFree") finished second, and Marina Brēmane from "Latvian Cycling Girls" came third.
