Latvian MMA fighter Edgars Skrīvers is set to debut in KSW (Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki), one of Europe's premier mixed martial arts organizations, on July 18. He will compete in the 61.2 kg weight class, the lightest in the promotion.

Skrīvers' opponent will be 32-year-old Sebastian Przybysz, who holds the #1 ranking in the division within KSW. The Polish fighter has spent most of his professional career in KSW, having debuted in the organization back in 2018. His overall record stands at 14 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw.

Skrīvers stepped in after Brazilian Rogério Bontorin was forced out due to injury. The Latvian fighter has previous experience in major organizations – he enjoyed his career peak in the Karate Combat league, where he became its first ever champion. His last MMA bout was a loss via decision in his PFL debut.

In his professional MMA career, Skrīvers has accumulated 17 wins and 5 losses.

Other Latvians already competing in KSW include Madars Bertholds Fleminas and his nephew Kristians Bogužs.
