Skujiņa sprints to 7th at Limburg Classic, two other Latvians in top 60
Latvian junior champion Kate Ketrīna Skujiņa finished 7th at the Limburg Classic in Belgium, winning the bunch sprint.

Kate Ketrīna Skujiņa, the Latvian and Baltic junior champion, competed in the prestigious Limburg Classic in Belgium on Saturday. The race featured 101 riders from 19 countries, including four Latvian junior road cyclists: Skujiņa, Katrīna Amanda Kozlovska, Laura Klismete, and Ieva Jurēviča.
The distance was 71 kilometers, divided into nine laps. During the race, a breakaway group of five riders escaped and the peloton could not catch them. Skujiņa was the fastest in the bunch sprint, finishing 7th, 18 seconds behind winner Sofia Tripchevic of the USA. This is one of her best results of the season, alongside her 9th place at the Flanders Classic.
Kozlovska finished 11th (+0:18), Klismete 59th (+0:46), and Jurēviča did not finish.
On Sunday, Laura Klismete achieved success in another race, the Flemish regional "Budingen-Leenhaag," where she placed 8th out of 65 competitors, finishing in the first group 1 minute and 21 seconds behind winner Auguste Mikutite. This was her first top-10 finish in Belgium this season.
