As the new school year approaches, families often have to juggle children's classes, extracurricular activities, and sports alongside work and other commitments. To help keep everything on track, Skylight's smart calendars are currently available with significant discounts. The promotion runs from August 2 through August 9, with savings of up to $90.

Models and pricing

During the sale, the 10-inch Skylight Calendar costs $119.99 (a $50 saving), the 15-inch Skylight Calendar 2 costs $259.99 (a $20 saving), and the 27-inch Skylight Calendar Max costs $479.99 (a $90 saving). The smallest 10-inch model takes up the least space. The newer, larger 15-inch Calendar 2, meanwhile, offers faster performance, a brighter display, and swappable magnetic frames. The 27-inch Calendar Max has the largest and sharpest screen, but it must be mounted on a wall, whereas the other models can stand on a table or be mounted. The big screen is convenient for families who want to see the calendar from across the room.

Shared features

All Skylight calendars include the same set of organizational tools. Each household member can have their own color-coded profile, and events can be synced from Google, Outlook, Apple, Cozi, or Yahoo calendars. Users can also create shared lists for groceries, chores, and other to-dos that everyone can access from the calendar or the companion mobile app. The grocery list can be sent to Instacart in a couple of taps. A built-in weather forecast helps with planning around events, and calendar access can be shared with family members and trusted contacts.

Plus Plan benefits

Additional perks come with the paid Plus Plan, which costs $79 per year, with the first month free. The plan uses artificial intelligence to automatically turn emails, photos, flyers, and spreadsheets into calendar entries. It also adds meal planning, tools for assigning and rewarding completed chores, and a mode that displays photos like a digital picture frame.
