Schlager musician Edvards Strazdiņš marries at age 23
Popular Latvian schlager singer and "Latvijas Sirdsdziesma" show winner Edvards Strazdiņš has married his partner Paula, having announced their engagement earlier this summer.

Latvian schlager performer Edvards Strazdiņš, known for winning the "Latvijas Sirdsdziesma" song competition, has married his girlfriend Paula at the age of 23. The couple's engagement was made public earlier this summer, and the relationship has now culminated in a wedding.
In an interview with the magazine "Ieva," the singer said he made the decision to marry quickly and without hesitation, adding that he sees little point in living together long-term without formalizing the relationship through marriage. According to him, proposing to Paula felt like a logical next step.
Congratulations from a producer
Music producer and publisher Guntars Račs shared footage from the wedding ceremony on social media, publicly congratulating the newlyweds and wishing them everlasting love.
For their wedding drive, the couple chose a retro-style car, a nod to one of Strazdiņš's best-known songs, titled "Mans vecais Audi" ("My Old Audi").
