Several stories from the world of foreign celebrities have emerged recently, as summarised in a weekend roundup by the Latvian newspaper Diena.
Housing dispute in court
American singer Stevie Wonder has asked a court for permission to remove a woman from his property, where she has lived rent-free for almost 40 years. She is his former partner, Carmen Efferson. The complaint says the two had an oral agreement allowing her to live there, but a conflict erupted this summer, after which Efferson did not allow insurance inspectors into the house for a check.

Canadian rock musician Neil Young is suing the US president for $10 million. After repeated objections over the use of his song "Rockin' in the Free World" for Donald Trump's purposes were ignored, the musician decided to take the matter to court.
Prince William on a talk show
Prince William, the Prince of Wales, appeared for the first time on Graham Norton's talk show. His appearance was tied to The Earthshot Prize, an international environmental award. Other people involved in the project also took part: actresses Cate Blanchett and Hannah Waddingham, and conservationist Robert Irwin. Besides environmental protection, the prince spoke about his love of music and film.
